Bullseye Seed Tubes
Seed Tube Bounce or Ricochet Can Ruin the Best Meter Singulation.
Every time a seed hits the seed tube wall it slows down. Slow seeds lead to erratic spacing, causing the familiar skip/double pattern that leads to lost yields.
It happens because ordinary seed tubes have catch points that interfere with the seed’s descent. So we eliminated them. In our new BullsEye seed tube, we moved the sensor out of the way - offset it just enough so that it won’t snag the seed. So there’s nothing in the way of a smooth, consistent ride down the tube. And we made that tube out of a special nylon that speeds the seed on its way.
We also eliminated the biggest wear issue with seed tubes: the way openers wear away their tips. That not only shortens the tube’s life, it leads to spotty spacing because seeds scatter when they hit that worn spot. Tungsten carbide tips insure that the BullsEye will long outlast ordinary seed tubes. Your replacement costs will plummet.
