Knock down corn stalks ahead of combine and tractor tires preventing tire stubble damage.
Today’s corn stubble is as tough as nails. Don’t let it damage your expensive combine tires and tracks; invest in the May Wes G4 Stalk Stompers. They feature heavy duty Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight poly shoes and high quality steel. UHMW is one of the slickest and toughest plastics in the world, and is even used to make armor plating!
Based on farmer feedback, the G4 Stalk Stomper features a simplified and space-saving torsion design that eliminates the spring, chain, pivot bolt and other bulky features found in most Stalk Stompers, making it much easier for one person to install, remove and reposition for transport or storage.
The G4 is much more compact with an 12.7" shorter length than previous models, providing more clearance for track combines and hassle-free storage and transport on folding corn heads. The G4 shoe has been widened to 12" for optimal stalk leveling and reduced its weight by 25%. Manufactured from 1/2" thick durable UHMW poly instead of steel, the G4's shoe easily glides across the field and features a raised tail to prevent accidental reverse damage.
•Simplified Design – Torsion spring to handle shock
•Reduced Weight by 25% – ½” thick UHMW poly instead of steel
•12” shoe width – optimal width for knocking down stalks
•Easier to remove and reposition for transport
•Closed Tail prevents accidental reverse damage
On September 24, 2018, the new G4 STALK STOMPERS won the 2018 Made in Minnesota Manufacturing Awards Best Game-Changing B2C Product Award.
FARMERS TESTED; FARMERS APPROVED
“I ran the new May Wes G4 Stalk Stompers on 2,500 acres with heavier down pressure at 5.5 mph. The new light-weight stomper shoes wore better than the Quick Disconnect version. I like the ease in handling the shoes and the ability to rotate the shoes for storage on the head. The G4 is less bulky and a cleaner, more efficient stalk leveling design.”- Josh K. Hutchinson, MN
