Adding a temperature sensor in the grain bin can help identify potential problems before they arise. This allows you to know your grain temperature at the bottom of the bin and the temperature and relative humidity in the headspace (exhaust air) at any time. The STEPS Bin Monitor includes a 24' cable and one temperature sensor. Additional sensors can be added at an additional cost. Note: The bin monitor does not turn anything on or off. You will need a Smart Phone and WiFi at the bin site. You can purchase a hotspot from your cell phone provider for WiFi. A free downloadable app from STEPS GMS is available to monitor it from anywhere.
